Candon Festival 2024 was held from October 3 to 5 in Candon City, Ilocos Sur, bringing together music, food, and visual arts in a three-day public event. The festival is part of the city’s annual effort to promote local culture while attracting visitors to the region.

The main concert took place on October 5 at the Candon City Arena, featuring Ben&Ben, Parokya Ni Edgar, and Flow G. The lineup combined folk-pop, alternative rock, and hip-hop, reflecting the range of contemporary Filipino music. Opening performances were delivered by the Candon Symphony Orchestra and Gtraxx Band.

The indoor arena recorded 7,636 attendees, based on event data. Admission was free, with entry managed through an online registration system that issued individual QR codes. Ticket validation began at 4:00 PM, and gates opened at 5:00 PM.

Festival activities extended beyond the concert. A food park hosted 16 vendors serving Ilocano dishes and local specialties. “MANGANTAYON,” a curated dining event led by Chef Miko Dy, highlighted regional ingredients and was developed with local culinary participants.

Art programs included talks and workshops by Filipino artists such as Manny Garibay and Otto Neri. A public mural titled “Cry of Candon” was also presented, referencing the city’s historical identity.
