Filipino artist Ronald Ventura, known for setting Southeast Asian art auction records, will showcase his significant work “Second Skin” at “The Well-Appointed Life” auction. This piece, from Ventura’s first US solo show, marks a major career shift as he explores identity through pop culture elements.

Explore Filipino Art with Paz, Salubayba, and Cabangis
The auction also features works by Jill Paz (born 1982), Don Salubayba (born 1978), and Zean Cabangis (born 1985). Paz draws from her great-granduncle Felix Resurreccion Hidalgo’s paintings, using laser technology to create fragmented yet cohesive pieces. Salubayba combines historical and contemporary iconography in “Towards Nowhere,” while Cabangis presents a complex work from Berlin that blends geometry and visual elements.
